DESCRIPTION

I am an IT engineer, working as a senior Linux system administrator at Bayesia SAS. I bring strong technical expertise to my colleagues and contribute to creating a pleasant work environment.

Since my early age, I have been fascinated by computer science. Although my training is primarily in web development, system administration has become my natural area of expertise.
I have acquired solid personal and professional experience in this field.

My passion for Linux led me to adopt this platform exclusively on all my personal machines, which allows me to practice my system engineering skills and constantly explore new technologies.

In addition, I have gained international experience through stays in Quebec and Norway to study and work.
These opportunities helped me develop my language and cultural skills, allowing me to communicate effectively with colleagues from around the world.

Finally, I am passionate about self-hosting emerging technologies such as Mixtral MOE language models, as well as Stable Diffusion. I have already experimented with these personal projects at home to explore their capabilities.

OPTIONS

--sysadmin : My specialty, especially with Linux. I use distributions such as Red Hat and Debian in my daily work environment, as well as VMware for advanced server and workstation management.

=Linux : I am an expert in the advanced use and administration of GNU/Linux, including Redhat, ArchLinux and Debian bases. I professionally use debian on a daily basis in my work environment, particularly for preseed management.

=vmware : I am familiar with VMware, including HA (IHR) features, DRS and its rules, vSwitches, vCenter and vRops.

=DBA : I am an expert in database management such as MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL server and Oracle.

=scripting : I am familiar with scripting with languages Bash, Python and PowerShell. A good system administrator is someone who doesn't need to do much to solve a problem.

=windows : I have the ability to manage Windows servers and workstations, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and PKI. But please, not too often.

=azure : I have a solid technical foundation in Azure AD, VNets, APIM, Application gateways and DNS management.

=xen : I have strong experience in self-hosting Xcp-ng solutions, including Citrix.

=misc : I am familiar with monitoring tools such as Centreon and Librenms.

--security : I am also a knowledgeable enthusiast in computer security, especially in EDR, IDS/IPS, Firewalling, Sandboxing and Honeypots.

--webdev : I am more of a backend developer than a designer.

=backend : I have strong skills in backend web development with PHP5/7, particularly for creating a micro-library to facilitate my projects. I also worked on a larger project using Symfony3.

=frontend : Although not my specialty, I have strong skills in front-end web development, particularly with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap/Gentella and SCSS/SASS.

=c : I have minimal skills in system, network and multithreading with the C language.

=en : I have very good technical English skills. I scored 935 on the TOEIC and also hold a CLES2 certificate.

=de : I am able to use German, with basic reading/writing/listening comprehension skills.

I prefer using ArchLinux as my daily operating system for work and play. As mentioned earlier, I no longer use physical machines with Windows.

I appreciate all sciences and techniques, and am known for being quick-witted, dynamic and always ready to take on new challenges.
